Probably recognise him by face, Cuban is the only thing worth visiting Wolves for... Gotta ask Mike - What was the Chimera like to own? LOVED TVR's since i was young
supra-mike1984
If i'm completely honest, it was a nice car but I was slighty disappointed by it. Don't get me wrong it was a quick little car, i'd probably put the car on par with a Supra TT running 0.9-1bar, but it would struggle againt a BPU Supra running 1.2bar especially whilst rolling. The 0-40 was very quick being a very light car. Build quality was the main downfall, plenty of rattles due to the fibreglass body. It spend at least 1 day a month in the workshop getting a repair of some kind, thats why i had to come back to the reliability of a Supra The best thing about the car to me, apart from the looks, was the sound of the V8 growl. Kinda made the whole experience worth it

Looking to get my alloys refirbed in the next few weeks, anywhere you would recommend in the mids mate?

Your Supra looked mint mate, heard it before i saw it! Haha thought of doing exactly the same myself, ended up behind the gala Casino which seems safer than you think....but either way i dont like parking anywhere in wolverhampton Yeah it must have been me, god knows how i didnt see / hear you i must have been in a world of my own! Good to know theres a few Supra about, would be great to meet up with you guys at some point Thanks for the tip on the wheel refirb guys, have you used this chap before then? Where is he based? supra-mike1984
Yeah a meet would be good once the weather gets a bit better. Eddy is a good guy and the work i've seen him do is good, and he does all of Audi's wheels. He's also very honest, and if he thinks that the work / repair is too much for him to do he'll admit it rather than bodge it and recommend another company to you, and even give them a call for you if you ask nicely and get a price of them. He's based in Darlaston just off the Black Country route.....
SIMON LC
Yeh I had a quick cruise through town to see who was about and saw the usual idiots queing outside Revolution bar and fight kickin off outside it.Lol,good to know some things never change.I only go to the Cuban bar up town because its the only decent place up there now. Glad you appreciated the sound of a Nur Spec bouncing off the walls going down Darlington street.I once opened her up near the Bullring in Brum where it goes under the bullring and it was so loud it even frightened me,and I was expecting it.Lol.
