export and jdm injector loom differences

am converting from n/a to tt and all is going well except when i came to plug the injector loom in and found engine (i knew)was jdm spec and loom export version,,bugger!!.looking at the wires it would seem a simple conector conversion would work..opinions please:) and does anyone know if the injectors are higher impedence on the export??...

Just buy the correct connectors from Toyota, strip the wires out of the current connectors you have and insert them into the new ones.

They'll probably only be a fiver each or something. Probably cheaper than and adaptor.

 

There's a guide in the tech FAQ's as to which type of injectors are in each model of Supra.

are you talking about the actual injector connectors? if so, they are different, but you can "clip" the plug guides off the UK Spec connectors and the loom will fit fine. Also, if fitting UK Spec injectors you will need a resistor pack.

thanx dudes,,ive got the orginal loom so will install these onto the uk spec loom.changing it because engine arrived with destroyed loom from supplier,.why do they do this? it only takes ten minuets to unplug it from the ecu and drag it through the bulkhead..bastards cost lots of time and money..oh well,.thanks for your help guys...excelent site..
