The Raven
Same problems with mine, both sides. Are there any drainage holes that can become blocked?? No mate, just worn 15 year old rubber
deathmonkey
Not to sound stupid - but people who have these problems - do you take it off, put it back on again, drive around a bit and re-tighten? Seems to solve problems any time I've had a leak. I've had say 2 leaks since I've had the car, did the above and it disappeared.
Se7eN
I have tried refitting the roof and its still the same. I know what you mean though, having the car on flat ground when you put the roof back on can help with the fit.
Terminator
Rubber looses its mechanical properties when exposed to UV and Ozone, it is not surprising some roof panels leak. New seals sound like the best and not that expensive fix. Give it a few years and we will start seeing window seals failing.
Gambit
No mate, just worn 15 year old rubber Actually there is, it runs down the front pillars. But look at the door side rubber next time it rains, if you can see the water has run between the rubber and the window.... It's not the drains. trebor69
Main reason i chose a hardtop , i only looked at one aero and the inside was soaking .
Gambit
Main reason i chose a hardtop , i only looked at one aero and the inside was soaking . What, you assumed it happens to all aerotops and decided against one. I don't think Toyota sold them as new thinking "It leaks, oh well!" I'm sure I speak for all aero's when I say, get a nice warm sunny day, take the roof off, drop the windows and your in driving heaven! Thomas Magnum for the win! Just need to buy me a stick on tash. AndrewOW
I already have the chest hair and medallion on a chain, and getting that roof off, windows down and the bpu tt roar on the open road is just the best! Especially through the tunnels. Wow! My roof doesn't leak, and it's parked outside at all times (unfortunately).

Supra N_A
this was my fear in buying a aero top sup so didnt bother in the end
jackso11
I need the new weatherstrips too, but have not bothered calling steve as I guessed it would be around that price. Mr.T = Toyota. Bes solution I found....find the area the seal is leaking, lift it up and clean underneath, clear silicone under the strip, stick it down. No more leaks. Not ideal but it works until someone comes up with a cheap place to buy them. I found a place online but they won't post outside the US. $45. I told them I would organise UPS to pick it up, they said no.
krisso_pl
I love having an aerotop and nothing can replace a sunny day and the wind blowing thru your hair:) but targa means more rubber, and more rubber means need of replacing. jackso11
Just an idea, but maybe a group buy could be set up for these? I bet a lot of us Aerotop owners could do with a set of new seals!
