I'm back...

Hi Shane! Long time no post! How are things generally? I know you've had some very tricky times of late.

As others have said, £6000 is most definitely top-end money for an NA. There's a silver supra (not sure of spec, will take a look if you're interested) for sale down my road in Basingstoke. Looks in fair condition, aftermarket (18" possibly) chromed wheels, aftermarket front bumper, £3600.

I don't know the owner or the car though.

Hi mate, yeah things aren't going too badly now cheers, got my job sorted out and back on the straight and narrow and now looking for another Supra! All is well :D

How are you?

It has been such a long time since I posted on here! I have missed being a member and owning a Supra!

Hmmm, ok, that Supra sounds quite good and yeah would you possibly take a look for me please? :)

That's quite a decent price but if it is an Auto, I'm going to have to say no to that as I want a Manual :)

I'm in no particular rush to buy a Supra at the moment as I am waiting till August time as the Fiesta has it's MOT but it won't pass so I am going to sell it for parts which will help with the Supra fund! :D

Depending on how long you prepared to wait I am putting my supra manual NA back together and then selling. It will have a years MOT and 6 months tax as I need to remove the private plate. Welcome back though..lol

Thankyou Supraloopy, good to be back! :)

I'm not in any rush to buy another Supra mate to be honest and yours sounds pretty good!!

When do you think you will have the Supra ready?

How much do you think you will be selling for?

Oh also just out of interest, what colour is the Supra? :D

Welcome home Shane. :D

Thanks Ken, it's awesome to be back! :)

I was contemplating on buying an R34 GTT Skyline as it's around the same price for an N/A - £6000 but I thought...nope, I want another Supra :D

I have noticed though that N/A Manual's are harder to find! They're all bloody Auto's! :( Or is it just that I'm not looking in the right places?!

I'd definately be thinking 6speed n/a. Perfect for when you want more power :p

Welcome back Shane mate knew it would not be long before you have another one good luck with the right find ;)

Hi Lui mate, yeah it's great to be back! I'm going to find a nice Supra with no problems this time as I have got nothing BUT time :D

I'll soon be able to join you all on meets again :)

Hmmm...6 speed N/A...would that be more than £6000??

Shane, if you think you'll be wanting TT power sometime in the near future, I'd suggest holding fire and saving up for a TT rather than buying an NA and then planning on doing a NA-TT swap. With £6000 in your pocket you're probably into auto TT territory already. That £6000 could see a TT 6 speed on your drive if you're in the right place at the right time, or by adding another £2000 you'd be able to be more choosy.

Your call, but if the want a TT performance again it's what I'd do. :)

PS I'll have a look at the one down my road over the weekend if it's still there.

Nah you're alright mate, I'll stick with the N/A thanks. I had a TT and wasn't exactly the most reliable of Supra's!

My N/A on the other hand was bullet proof...nothing went wrong with it other than needing a new Clutch so I'm sticking with the N/A as that's enough power for me anyway :)

Yes thank you, if you could have a look for me that would be great :)

 (will Shane find another Supra with 303g/km declared in the CO2 Emissions section of the V5) :D

Ummmm... not again mate! You're s*** out of luck this time :D

There's some poor soul out there driving my old TT paying that road tax! LOL! :sly: :D
