Dont tell my boss Mum's the word;) I started work in Altens at the beginning of January and yours is the first sup I've seen in Aberdeen since then, makes a change to seeing skylines which seem to be everywhere up there! Have been over in falk nutec since monday doing my bosiet so the work can send me offshore, its a right pain in the ar5e trying to get from Dyce to the other side of Aberdeen at 5.00pm, atleast it was only three days though. bigbloodyturbo Posted February 17, 2010 Author Share Posted February 17, 2010 Work for a company called Westerton, they operate electric cutting tools for cutting pipe when they get stuck in the well or just want something removed but dont want to resort to chemical or explosive cutting, we just tie into the wireline and drop it down to depth and cut it, works like a lathe but cutting from the inside, the idea is pretty cool and the plus side is it can be flown out unlike the other methods:) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
