When i found it i paid the guy to let me in so i could get the chap to protect primm, however once inside they all attacked me. So i fought back and killed everyone and i do mean everyone thus failing the "i fought the law mission" Am i right in thinking if i had dressed as a powder ganger i would have been able to do these missons?

There's lots in Vegas, the casino's are quite cool and very large. Not much in terms of weapons as yet (no spoilers ;) ), but doing the missions from there leads to some cool quests (and rewards)

I thought once I was there it was getting towards the end of the game, then realised it was only the start!

has anyone been to Vegas yet? I'm still slumming it in the mojave. What's in Vegas (weapons and apparel wise).

Yes, been there and left, needed 2,000 caps to get into the gambling part, so i need more, there is apparently a sneaky way in but i will have to check.

There is a energy weapon's store, but again you need a lot of caps, i prefer to hunt out the good weapon's,

Also noticed that there are a lot of glitches in the terrain mapping, especially if you try and take odd route to places, i went from Novak over the mountains to try and find the prison and hidden Vally, but you either cant get there, or you get stuck inside rocks, and have to reload.

Very small spoiler below..

There's a few ways, one is to do a few missions to get a free pass, another is to talk to someone in the Vegas area who'll give you one for 500caps. Or, you could do what I did and gamble to build up some money :)

I'm level 30 now

I play Xbox too much....

Did you get to level 30 and still have plenty to do? I'm at 22 so getting close and getting worried!

Was really annoying on Fallout 3 when you got to level 20 and were only half way through the game.

It was still a good game but I had to get the hack to let you go above level 20 (before DLC's were released) - I just didn't enjoy it as much when you weren't levelling up - I need MOOAARR XP! :D

make sure every time you lvl up you save it rather than the auto save function....had 4 mates and me so far where they have gone out of a building and the game freezes and you have no option but to turn off and on again at this point your auto save game is corrupt i lost 5 lvls to it and had to redo

Hmm, got my interest too after reading some comments. Too bad my laptop can't handle it or I could sneak in few cheeky games at work :p Might pick one up from Tescos after work today (if they still have it in stock)

Out of curiousity, how long will it take to d/l on Steam? I reckon its more expensive on Steam too?

Steam is a joke now - you'd think because they don't have to package the game and send it to a store etc that you might have a chance of getting it chepaer but it always seems to be cheaper in the shops now.

At level 30 with quests still to do,really annoying because I'd be about level 35 now if it wasnt for the level cap.thought they would have sorted this out
