Klank
Good morning, all. Firstly, I apologise for such an unsophisticated technical query, but I'm having a bit of chew finding the correct ones. I've had a good search but can't find the answer I'm looking for. I've fitted a Kakimoto Racing cat-back to my N/A which still has the second cat fitted. I used the old compression ring and got a very tight seal to the cat, which isn't blowing. My problem is the gasket between the centre pipe and backbox. I cleaned up the flanges and measured the bore of the pipe, but it's closer to 2 3/4". I got some gaskets off eBay suitable for 2 1/2" which were inevitably a bit too small. Are the standard flanges 3" on the N/A? I snipped the edges off the 2 1/2" gasket just to get me away, but it's not getting a good seal and blows a fair bit. I'm expecting to hear, "get the 3" gasket off eBay, you numpty!" But any info would be appreciated. Regards, Keith.

Klank
Thanks for the input, Nic. I would go to a dealer, but I'm not after the compression rings, I need one of the standard metal gaskets, such as this one. I just need to know if the bolt centres are correct. Rgds, Keith. merckx
Exhaust assembly paste will do the job, just make sure you use enough.
