Chris Wilson Posted February 15, 2010 Share Posted February 15, 2010 (edited) Got a J-Spec TT here which has been connected up to a slave battery the wrong way round (wrong polarity). LOTS of things have blown, and been sorted, leaving only a none functioning heater to sort. I have checked the fuses in the drivers side kick panel area, and under the bonnet. The owner had a fiddle himself, and had the dash apart. I have checked that there are no plugs left disconnected, but it has an exotic stereo and other gizmos, and the wiring behind the centre dash is a total rats nest. Is the heater stuff controlled by a fuse? Where is it? Has anyone had the heater ecu blow up by wrong polarity jump starting? Anything else to look for? Why can't heaters be less complex, these things are just so OTT ? Thanks.
