If you can put up with less power an N/A rotary is pretty bullet proof. It's the heat issue and det when you turbo them. I have just bought an FD RX-7 with a blown engine, not sure what's happening with it yet, jury is out :)

Never heard of an RX7 na only thought they came tt. I know the RX8 is na alright.

The FD was TT as stock, but I have always thought an N/A engine in one that's blown up would still give fairly good performance, but be lighter and more reliable. It's easy to find blown up FD's.... :) A peripheral ported N/A in a stripped out one would be cool, and VERY VERY noisy.

Ah right that makes sense, great looks and more reliable can't go to wrong.

Might be light weight given some of the cars mentioned above but the 4th gen Honda Prelude 2.2 V-Tec with the optional 4 wheel steering was considered one of the best handling cars of it's day - comfy, decent enough space in it, reasonable running costs, corners like it's on rails and that V-Tec scream. Lot going for it actually!

Now this looks like the most interesting post. I live 5 minutes from whifbitz. And if you recommend the company your just posted. I would consider getting one only if its in mint condition with very low milleage on new engine as i don't have the patience or the money to keep repairing it when something goes wrong. Am loveing the black rx7's. Way better option then any of the other cars but you can't really use it as a everyday car but i wouldn't mind that.

Yeh Daz & Paul in whifbitz knows their way around rx7s.

I've owned a gto , evo , scooby , civic ,R32 GTR , R32 GTS-T , R32-GT4, borrowed an Gen 3 Rx7 . Rx7's are mint light , handle really well but re-builds after 30,000miles . to be honest a R32-GTR is the way to go allday mate , they handle , they have got the power , they are a Jap ICON , legend , You can import one for around less than 4k now. You couldnt get a good TT supra for that.
