icemanv6
Just bought Fallout 3 for the PC game of the year edition, so got: Fallout 3, Operation:Anchorage, The Pitt, Broken Steel, Point Lookout, Mothership Zeta add-on packs with it How many hours of my life should I expect to lose playing all of these? Bear in mind I'm the type who likes to go explore every little bit and do every secondary missions etc in games.

Bobbeh
Fallout 3 is massive, but brilliant and rewarding So many hours but you'll have fun
Andy-No-Knee
About a month, then you will not care anymore. All in I did about 6 months on it. Replayed the game so many different ways, good guy, bad guy, slaver, then tried the 'cheats' to gain weapons that you cannot normally get (Mysterious Straingers 44 magnum!!!), only just started to recognise my wife again. Bugger! Having a break to do CoD MW2 then will go back to the Mothership Zeta add on.

Mike
I played this game for about a year... and sunk 120 hours into it. I've done all of the add-on packs, but I still have probably half the game map to explore. It's probably the best game I've ever played. I can't wait for Vegas!! icemanv6
The game keeps crashing constantly at the same part (right near the beginning ). Tried nearly every single 'fix' I can find, very frustrating!

RedM
I can't wait for Vegas!! Apparently you won't be able to use Vegas saves in Fallout 3 because what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.
Konrad
Cool, I'd love to visit Prypiat! I'm planning to go this year too, it's quite addictive, once you come back you can't stop thinking about this town and atmosphere there.

Ric
we where looking at some deals on tourkiev.com however we've nothing booked/set in stone yet
Konrad
I will try and push slightly case of sorting out visas for people from UK by strefazero.org, they might be interested in taking few people out there. Problem with tourkiev and other tour operators from Ukraine is that you do not really have enough time to see anything, they just treat everyone like cattle and run them from one place to another (forget about getting into buildings, not enough time!). When you go with group of enthusiast and proper contacts in Ukraine you can go there for 4 days (including one full day in Prypiat!). DanGX
I spent absolutely ages on this game, with all the add ons and I still felt it wasn't long enough. Sign of a great game. Just like all the other Fallouts.* *Brotherhood of Steel on Xbox was shit. It doesn't count.
Mike
*Brotherhood of Steel on Xbox was shit. It doesn't count. Why is that, like?
DanGX
The old Xbox did a game called Brotherhood of Steel, part of the fallout series, focusing on the one of three initiates from the BoS. Not to be confused with Fallout Tactics which was really good. It was crap because the camera angle was annoying at times, there was actually very little interaction with anything to do with the BoS, no real customisation compared to the previous versions. You could only play one three characters: A ginger bird who's key skill was dual wielding pistols/subs A big brainless "strong guy" who could carry the heaviest armour and weapons (Win!) or a Ghoul would was resistant to radiation and could heal in it but was really, really weak. I bought it because I did like all the previous incarnations.
Mike
Oh, I thought you meant the add-on to Fallout 3... I quite enjoyed that!? following the big robot into battle!
Septic
I really need to get this on my 360. I played this on my PC and was hooked! Unfortunately the PC really struggled to handle the game due to over-heating etc. This game is brilliant!
icemanv6
Finally got it working tonight, running smooth as anything on Ultra setting's. Can't wait to get into it more
