p3te
I’m looking to buy a universal fit hks ssqv bov but was just wondering how these are fitted? Is it just direct fit onto the intercooler pipe work with a weld on flange? Then the thinner hose fitted as normal? Or is there any other way? Lee P
The universal one requires a flange to be welded into the intercooler pipe work.

Lee P
and is that all thats needed to fit it? 25mm weld on flange? Yep and then just run a vac hose from the top of the dump valve to the manifold and tee it in somewhere.

p3te
ah, so steel to steel alu to alu? also looking on ebay there is 50mm 60mm and 65mm flanges?
Scott
I'm not a welder so I'm only going with what I think here. As far as I remember Ally can be a bit of a bitch to weld, especially to different materials so if your pipes are alloy then it is really your only choice. Steel will be fine to weld onto most materials, some harder than others but more flexible than ally.
