Hi all,

Since about Christmas time the orange mobile signal in my area has been terrible. It has got worse and worse so on the 2nd of Feb I called orange and complained they fob me off for a few days saying it will be back tomorrow (no joy) .

Then got hold of and English lady (yay I can understand what they are saying) and she said there was a mast down and it will be back up on the 7th of Feb at 7:30pm. She gave me £30 for line rental not grate but ok least I have a date it will be fixed now. 7th came round and still no good so have been phoning them every day ever since and they kept saying try it tonight and let us know blah blah blah. Then I had a chat with someone in tech again they say try it tonight and let me know but he said if it’s not up by tomorrow I can cancel my contract free of charge yay brilliant.

Still not good today so finely I got to a manager and she says the mast is still down (bit different from what her staff was saying) has been since the 28th of December and will be back up on the 22nd Feb (now I am annoyed to say the least) she says I can not cancel my contract and the guy was lying. All she can do is give my £20 to buy a new Pay as you go phone and when its fix give me back the line rental for the time it was down.

What can I do this is crazy any one got any ideas???? I need my phone back up and running but I don’t really want to give orange £120 to end my contract or have 2 contracts running or have a Pay as you go phone.

Rant over

Thanks

Jonathan Hemmings

I've had trouble with Orange the past week, been getting nowhere with there customer services. I sent a sh*$y email to the chief exec office two days later I got a call from a guy (very helpful) from the department saying he is now in charge of the mater and it will be sorted.

Let me know if you want the address and I'll pm it to you.

we had orange broadband agreed on a 12 month contract and was told later it had to be an 18 month contract,

it became a hobby of mine to phone them up complaining about the system that never worked we had a pc engineer come and check everthing and was told thier modem was at fault which they wouldnt replace ,finally our contract was up so i phoned to cancel and was told i needed to give 3 months notice !!

i stopped the direct debit and sent thier modem back only for them to deduct 2 months line rentall about six months later on my debit card.

What? You paid for a service for 18 months that never worked? Are you mad? I would have stopped paying immediately. And how the hell did they take money off your debit card?

This is crazy!!
