You're still letting my country down with your piss poor use of punctuation. I've never been likened to Harry Potter before but there's a first time for everything. tDR
Well said TDR and also where have you been tuesday nights. I was in the arse end of the world on Tuesday this week, otherwise known as Amersham - on a Compellent SAN course. Only just home this evening after going from there to Birmingham with work also. I suspect I may be in Aberdeen next Tuesday so work is seriously impacting on my Forza time just now Will join in the Forza fun again as soon as I get a chance - missing my fix! Lbm
This is my last addition to this thread... ORLY? Whatever you all believe or think, long before supra mkIV was around .... in Roman times the numeral was IV there is no iv, But were you not suggesting 1V? Were the Romans doing that 1 thing? jaymdee
Lbm - yes he was. Originally he was arguing that it should be mk1v and then changed it to mkIV when the nasty people pounced
Tee from China
I think he should ask for a long stand ? and some supra ski hooks ? fail. long weight = wait! so a long stand makes no sense and its SKY hooks not ski!! (yours makes no sense either) could ask for a glass hammer for the sky hooks though and maybe a left-handed one too:innocent:
Tee from China
Surely if we are being pedantic about this then its not a Supra mkIV it would be a Supra Mark 4 so the mk is obviously incorrect as well, which means manufacturers have been making this mistake for years I think not If I remember correctly (such a very long time since I were a youngen') I was told by a bigwig Ford guy that the use of Mk for Mark was used instead of the true meaning Marque as that would be Mq and manufacturers decided that Mk was easier - so uppercase M with lowercase k !!
tDR
That's incorrect - a 'Marque' could be considered a brand, whereas 'Mark' is indicative of a model line which has evolved from the original release and is used to distinguish between those evolutions over time. tbourner
It should probably still be Mk. though (big 'M', small 'k', with a full stop). So really it's a Mk.IV?
AndrewOW
It should probably still be Mk. though (big 'M', small 'k', with a full stop). So really it's a Mk.IV? No, it's 1000k4, but has been misinterpreted by some, and it's caused all kinds of problems, by all accounts.
