AlanM
I got a crease down my drivers door nearly a foot long in Tescos car park.
Geo
Geo, If I was in tesco in my other car, and saw you had parked across two bays, I would have parked mine so close to your's that you would have had to get in through the boot! Em why?? would you be driving 2 cars at the same time to park next to my other door i have on the car, you know the supra does have passenger side door?? lust2luv
It's a pet hate of mine for people to park across two bays. Doesn't matter if the car park was empty or not, if everyone was the same as you, then Tesco's car park would have 50% of it's designed capacity Actually it wouldn't, it'd be 90%+ still, you'd only lose the end spot of each row if you think about it. johnny g
I got a crease down my drivers door nearly a foot long in Tescos car park. I got a stone chip on the motorway - doesn't mean I'll stay off the motorway. It's a fact of life.

No, there'd be about a 1 car space between each car. Therefore more likely to be 2 cars in 3 cars space. So, closer to 66%.
Abz
You did choose the car you drive though. Some cars are easier to get in and out of. I'm a fatty and I don't moan. You wasn't in Asda this morning in Docklands at 8:25am was you? Bloke got out of a new 5 series (won't say he was a fatty but a bit chubby, tall though), whacked his drivers door against the Audi A4 while getting out and then carried on shutting his door like nothing happened! Edit: Just noticed your location

Although stone chips can not be avoided, someone slamming their door against yours can.

Only if nobody shared the same bay, everyone could park across 2 bays and leave no additional space between cars - would kind of defeat the purpose admittedly. martini
Sooo many people just cannot park - or park but don't think about other people. This is a tame example compared to what I normally put up with... http://img.skitch.com/20100211-rufqa5gfx26gdmrmrwmutrdykg.jpg I've added the black lines to highlight the space markers as they are quite hard to see (note, my car was already there when someone parked like this). martini
What a f*cking disgrace! I know! Of course, to rectify this situation and to recover from the trauma I deflated his tyres, and put his windows in * . *note I am assuming this is a man - obviously women don't park like this. martini
Sticky accelerator issue with your Yaris was it? Actually, you can clearly see that the stupid hyundai coupe driver has parked his rear not in line with my Yaris - sticky pedals or not! MARTIN R
I am a manager for Tesco and tbh we cant win, complaints levied at us regarding people taking two spaces, parking in restricted bays etc are numerous, I can understand your annoyance but some form of control is necessary. Some of the car parks down south have barrier controls as well:D
