Guest SupraTroopa
Started getting this annoying problem on my supe, when pulling away or reversing (generally low speeds or when the clutch is held in for longer than a normal change) the clutch tends to stick to the floor and not return to the normal position. Tried bleeding the system incase it was some air in it but no joy. Any ideas?
Missile
I’ve had this problem before. I had to replace the slave cylinder. But check to make sure your floor carpet is not in the way.
Chris Wilson
Possibly the bleed hole in the master cylinder is blocked, usual cause degraded brake fluid caused by seals wearing. New seal kits in master and slave and a proper clean and blow out, fresh fluid and bleed, job sorted. Unless the bores are worn or score, then new complete cylinders required.
