mwilkinson
i'm all taxed and insured , what was all the traffic about though? i will assume a bus was involved? For once no. It was an organised religious parade. It's called the Arabean parade or something very similar. Apparently it happens every year. They get to walk, 2500 people up and down Park Lane. It's a traffic nightmare. Conjestion was so bad traffic asked us to close the road which we did, much to peoples anger. Having said that the people themselves were very well behaved. They had orgaised their own security and clean up crews etc. The organisation that side was impecable.

mwilkinson
Honestly I might have considered it if not for the fact my Sgt was sitting in the van. Oh and the abuse I would of had of other motorists.

adnanshah247
Just thought id bring to your attention dude, its a religious mourning march, its for muslims who mourn the death of the Prophet Mohammeds grand son Imam Hussain. They were beating there chests right? It happens every year on a period of time called 'Chelum' which refers to prayers made 30-40 days after a muslims death, in this case it was our tragic Imam. I was there! lol
