tony tt
Does anyone know what a bpu 6spd rz tt will do flat out in 6th?? Dont really want to try it just wondered if anyone knew how many leptons it could achieve
Thorin
Off the clock.
pistonbroke
I think it depends on the 6sp. I think the v160 has a higher theoretical top speed than that of the V161. I reckon 180 leps with some favourable wind.
tbourner
112.
AJI
Been discussed before, but I think the general concensus is that it would get to about 180+mph. With big power 197mph possible with the 6th and diff gearing...(or was that 205mph with a raised limiter?) I think there was also top speed spreadsheet calculator somewhere that also took into account trye radius. tony tt
Off the clock. Is that from experience lol Cheers for the replies lads. Not too impressed with 112 though maybe you should take the limiter off.
Gaz6002
I've had my car back round past 0 again with 180mph on the clock. No idea whatsoever what speed I was doing but it was fast, and the girl in the passenger seat was screaming. That'll teach her.

AlexJames
I have been on a private road at 164mph (thats gps tracked, not the inaccurate speedo which was off the clock at the time) then I ran out of road.. I still had loads of beans left too... I would of easily gotten over the 170 mark near
heckler
I've seen 183 mph (GPS speed) down the runway at Marham when mine was BPU - I ran out of runway, pretty sure had a few more mph to go...

dude
Go auto, Dimitri worked my silver one out to be 211mph with a J spec 6spd diff. On a track of course. Terry saunders had 200 out of his single with Mark Shead mapping it, both readings taken from rpm and tyre diameter.
nigelboyne
178mphgps ran out of road will be trying another run soon
Homer
178mphgps ran out of road will be trying another run soon They will do more than that, but need a *serious* amount of road to do it, literally miles of WOT once past 170! For info (and assuming stock size rear wheel diameter and stock rev limit), the absolute maximums (I.e. without power limitations) are: NA auto: 175.8mph NA 5spd: 158.3mph NA 6spd: 164.2mph TT auto (jspec & UK): 190.5mph TT 6spd (UK): 203.7mph TT 6spd (pre-facelift): 195.4mph TT 6spd (facelift): 189.1mph
