geoffvalenti
All N/A Supras are imports. The only model officially sold in the UK was the TT.
tbourner
All N/A Supras are imports. The only model officially sold in the UK was the TT. Doesn't that make for the perfect excuse!!

how_supra
Isn't there someone on this board who has insurance who is under 21?? I could well be making that up though .
tbourner
Would you want a TT at 18 anyway? What other driving experience have you got? I seriously reccomend anyone to drive at least something RWD first!! If not something with a bit of power. That's if you're not a go-kart champion or do single seater racing or anything silly like that!!!
Supragal
Err I think he was saying he wanted an NA! Have you tried the club insurance company? How many places have you tried?
Kopite
Whitesupraboy2 was insured on an NA when he was 20 i think? could drop him a PM mate (careful he might come onto you ) you tried getting insured as a 2nd driver on someone elses policy? Are you after a supra because of the looks or the performance mate? if performance, you might be better waiting a couple of years (easy to say i know!) and get a TT. if you ever go in a TT you'll want one instead!! if it's the looks your after, as Rosie said, try the club insurer (Sky Insurance isnt it?) and see what they say too Good luck
garetheves
Have you tried elephant mate. i got insured with them on a TT import when i was 22. Im sure they would insure you on an import NA or TT.
michael parker
Have you tried elephant mate. i got insured with them on a TT import when i was 22. Im sure they would insure you on an import NA or TT. As above, give elephant a try, loads of companies wouldn't insure me until i was over 25, elephant insured me on a tt imp, im 23!
Samurai446
Elephant were good for me too. They insured me at 21 with 3 points and 1 claim. On a TT
GeordieSteve
You will get insurance on a TT. Won't be too cheap tho. To be fair tho... get yourself something you you won't have a bloody good chance of killing yourself in. I know that makes me sound like a sad old git but I;m SO glad I didn't have a TT at your age. I know I wouldn't be here now if I did
Whitesupraboy2
Whitesupraboy2 was insured on an NA when he was 20 i think? could drop him a PM mate (careful he might come onto you ) Hi Mate, it is true i got Insured on a Import NA at 20. But the company i was with has stopped insuring under 25's now. Im still with them due to i just renew every year. It is hard but if you search well enough you will find one. Id expect nowadays a quote of around £1200 for a NA minimum. If you go on to elephant's site they may insure u on a UK model or try http://www.confused.com as that will search loads of places. P.s Kopite, tried it on and i turned him down...he been bitter every since!
