lockys96
Just got back from my vacation in tokyo, after i decided 3 years in my poxy job was enough for me, the plan was to stay 2weeks but i ended up staying 23 days by extending my trip whilst i was out there... yes, japan is a total different culture, but its far more than i expected, and find myself enjoying it too much out there. i find myself at the age of 25 and in prime conditions to pursue a working holiday visa for 1 year, i have applied for a job whilst out there, attended an interview and am just waiting. whilst ive blown over £3,000 for 3 weeks in tokyo for vacation, i find myself needing about another £4,000 in order to get the visa, flights, be able to survive the first 2 months without having the job income over in japan yet. ive only seen a small part of tokyo, there is so much more to see there are various pics here https://www.flickr.com/photos/47192357@N08/ Tokyo Auto Salon - (has declined in size) Amlux - (toyota showcase for all latest models) Some museum in Odiba More Toyota/Lexus at Odiba I have more than 1 reason, someone really special to go back to. I cant see myself keeping my nearly finished Track project Mr2, after 2 years on money, stress and graft, it will not get used the way it should if i just store it. with the car costing 13k, just recently having a full fresh rebuild 5k, it owes me over £30k,lol. i can make out 12k in parts ive bought and over 8k labour in 2 years. MARTIN R
Its a place I would love to visit , If you get the chance to live and work over there then go for it, its worth it just for the experience imo. I lived and worked in Australia and more recently although a little closer to home in the Republic of Ireland and I loved every minute of experiencing a new country and culture Nice pics:)

AlexM
Do you speak Japanese at all? I'd love to go out there but wonder how much I would struggle without the native tongue.
