Scott
I don't have much to go on with this one. The only way I can describe the song itself is that it sounds a bit like Journey, I don't think it is them though as I remember the lead vocalist being a bit more raspy. The lyrics I remember are either.. One night......... one night Or All night......... all night Or a combination of the above lol. There is then some lyrics and then the bit I remember is repeated again. Pretty sure it is a very famous song though. I think I remember it being in a movie, obviously I won't remember which until I can remember more of the song though. That is the only part of the song I have in my head. I think it is an 80's pop/rock song (Journey type era). Could be 70's though.

Scott
Not M People, One Night in Heaven? Lol, no bud. It's a bloke singing. Raspy voice? Now that is much closer. From memory the lead vocal sounds exactly like that. It isn't that song though. The lyrics are definitely.. Onnneee night... oneeee night. (or of course the "all" variation lol)

Scott
Nope, I think I am destined not to know this song until I see that particular movie again lol. I think it is at the end of an 80's movie. At first I thought teen wolf but after a brief check it isn't. Thanks for the suggestions folks It is very who-esque though. I think it may be an American band that does it though. Don't take any of this as concrete though, it is just my vague train of thought.
