supragold
I heard on the radio that Toyota are recalling millions of cars due to their throttle pedals sticking. Models include the Rav 4, Corolla, Camry, Highlander but no mention of the Supra?!? So why is that when i take my Supra out the throttle pedal always seems to be stuck to floor? snake
The fiat panda has a recall as the abs "box" lets in water and could catch fire.

caseys
its only the usa and some parts of europe for certain models to my knowlage http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/8489079.stm Toyota is recalling up to 1.8 million cars across Europe, including about 220,000 in the UK, following an accelerator problem. Doesn't say model / age tho.

MARTIN R
And the Peugeot 107 and C1 counted too. Toyota Aygo over here I think is being recalled. Yep the Peugeot models were made at the same Czech factory
Porky1978
The models involved are the AYGO, iQ, Yaris, Auris, Corolla, Verso, Avensis and RAV4. The Peugot 107 and Citroen C1 are made at the same Czech factory and will also be recalled, apparently. Sad times. Hope customer satisfaction isn't affected too much. I work at the Burnaston plant that makes the Auris and Avensis. And before you ask: No i didn't have anything to do with putting the accelerator pedals in! GMan
Notice these are all the cars that are meant for the the people who don't love cars, and usually don't have a clue about cars or driving, we call them "Drones" Notice it hasn't affected a single Lexus. As an Engineer I can tell you that the competition to be put on a proper car project I.E. rwd, decent power, aggressive styling, Is intense. Therefore your sport cars not only usually get the best and brightest real gear heads designing them, you get less interference from the beancounters, trying to save a cent or two wherever they can. so you get spectacular cars that last, like the Supra. Unfortunately Toyota has fallen into the trap that GM did where the Accountants rule and people who are not car guys like us call the shots. the best example is the current Toyota line up(excluding Lexus), they don't have a single sports car! it's all fwd cost saving garbage. The only RWDs are trucks! Hence the massive fail!

Also, heard they were recalled a while ago because the floor mat could get caught on the throttle sticking it to the floor. There going to look in to it to see was that the case with this one. Hope toyota get this sorted soon. Not a great time to be bringing back celica & mr2 though
