JS2004
My headlights currently have enough water / fog etc in them that I am sure a frog / newt could happily survive in there.. My current plan of action is as follows: 1) Remove main beam bulbs, using hairdryer to blow warm air into the lights, or onto the front lense 2) Tie a silica gel pack onto end of piece of string and go fishing for additional moisture 3) Leave overnight with gel packs sealed in (see below.. the vaseline plan) 4) Remove gel packs and then smear vaseline around the bulb sockets of main beam (and any other vents / holes) Does this sound likes its going to work? I noticed theres little vents with little rubber things on the back of the headlights but I know for sure I have already lost one of the little rubber things.. I was thinking of just clogging up all those rear vents / holes with vaseline aswell.. or would that be an incredibly bad idea? If theres any other fancy tricks I can try please let me know Ive just put in some HIDs and wanted to admire them but the water features tend to be distracting. Matt _Aero top_
mine had this and i just removed the side light bulb and it soon cleared up but has left abit of a water mark on the inside . so when the weather gets better i'm going to strip them and re-seal them properly as there must be something somewhere thats letting moisture in
