caseys
I'd give that 9.5/10. A good rant.

JustGav
I think that was the whole point behind his rant.. Oh yeah... just read the complete article...whoops
Thorin
I thought the last sentence (I didn't read his original piece as published by the Times) was poor anyway and, as he points out, he was aiming for gay innuendo with the line. Perhaps the editor wanted to avoid that, he's an editor that's what they do, edit things. Yet Coren seems to think he is so special that his articles should be published verbatim. Coren comes across as a jumped up little twat. IMO, of course.
Thorin
Double post, crap, I need an editor.

No. A few friends I think use the same terminology as you're thinking of... did make me chuckle. Admittedly didn't know the Yiddish use of it. JustGav
No. A few friends I think use the same terminology as you're thinking of... did make me chuckle. Admittedly didn't know the Yiddish use of it. I knew of the Yiddish version, but being half asleep I completely missed the obvious comments in his rant... Matt H
Might just be a Basingstoke thing...but going for 'a' nosh has nothing to do with dinner..... Agreed, going for nosh is food, going for 'a' nosh is a blowie. There's no distinguishing between the two. He was trying to be clever, but it just sounded exactly like it read; like he was looking for a blow job. No wonder it got edited. I'm sure the majority of the times readers have no idea what a nosh is anyway - nor have ever had one! Is that Michael? So that's what he's been doing away from the forum!
