Max Headroom
Had a letter arrive in the post yesterday from these muppets saying that I owed Talk Talk £334.58 from my address in Scotland which we moved from in 2005. The letter claimed it was for Tiscali which is now part of Talk Talk of which I used as a broadband provider till about 2003 and changed to Plus.net and completed all the things that required doing. So after 5 years moving from the address I get this letter out of the blue, so I ring the finance dept of Talk Talk and speak to someone and ask if anything is against the telephone number that I had whilst in Scotland, he replies nothing is coming up and I say thank you. I then ring SCJ and ask for details of the alleged debt and say I am disputing the alleged debt, SCJ cannot furnish me with any further details. I then read this http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/debt-collection-industry/64943-srj-debt-recovery.html So I am waiting to have some fun myself, just don't need it at this time. Matt H
Scum bags. Just read the stuff on CAG. Write them a letter and tell them they owe you £456.00 in payments for providing anal to the directors wives as they're man enough to sort the needs of their women out. The Restorer
So in simple terms... - Debts over 6 years old cannot be enforced - Theses guys buy these debts from companies for pennies - Harass people expecting them to pay up We had a telephone voicemail a few months back asking to call them back. As they never asked for anyone by name in the message I ignored it. Got a letter addressed to the previous tenant from them a few months later. Just returned it. Best not to speak to them on the phone as they have very little details on you and have much more experience in getting information from you and extremely aggressive. Whitesupraboy2
I changed over to Vodafone and these guys started calling, answered once or twice and no one there...then they just kept calling. They eventually stopped, only ever happened as soon as i went to vodafone.
