sdistc
Btw Mike, is your missus mad or something to move to UK from OZ? UK and Australia are two sides of the same coin. We (Australia) have good weather, here (London) is not so good. You have good public transport systems and short distances, we have very ordinary public transport because it's a huge place. We have lots of space with no-one living in it (mostly because you can't!), whereas here is crowded and small (but vibrant and a palpable sense of history). We have great food, here is getting better (but currently not consistently good). Here you can travel to another culture and climate within 2 hours, home you have to travel for at least a day! All depends what you're prepared to compromise on. Edit: Oh, and we are essentially the same culture - coming to London was immediately familiar for me, apart from the constant complaints about the Tube
