mobsta_01
Hi all, i've been thinking to get a tt conversion donefrom Keron, but wasn't sure whether i needed to change anything else. My car's quite low, so i thought i may need to go stock. Don't know what springs etc i've got as it was all done before i got the car in Japan. RobD
I bought a NA with the intention to go TT with, Things i've changed was the tyres as the one on my stock rims was ditch finders so i opted for a new set of alloys and better rubber, changed my suspension to a set of tein coilovers, you could always swap to a set of TT struts but to be fair i got the teins so the car was sitting a bit better! Also a brake upgrade to either uk spec brakes or making sure your j-specs are in top condition maybe a set of fast road pads from CW and some braided hoses all round should be ok! mobsta_01
i was thinking about coilovers, but probably a bit after my tt conversion. maybe you could do me a deal on yours, if you don't sell with your car Until then though i thought stock tt suspension. Seen these, would they be okay for my 1993 na auto? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220543763017&fromMakeTrack=true
RobD
If you make sure there for a tt then they should be ok! The coilovers etc will be staying with the car when/if it goes after the thread yesterday about NA/TT yesterday its got me thinking again about the conversion myself! That's what convinced me too was originally thinking of selling mine and buying a tt as well:d
miko_supra
Make sure you get the additional differential bush installed that the TT's use or you will suffer from wheel tramp with the extra torque from the engine.

I think keron's na-tt conversion includes that
Stratty
I put a set of coilovers on mine and some brembo brakes and disks before I did my TT conversion. Wanted to make sure it could stop.. lol....

Stratty
Good idea That was part of my worry. How much did the brakes set you back? I got them second hand and were off an evo 8. Paid £550 for all for corners from what I can remember.
RobD
Was they a direct fit or did you have to make adaptors up for the calipers?
Stratty
The rears fit straught on but needed a bracket for the front. Look the muts nuts and are slightly better than UK spec IMO.
RobD
Where did you get them from if you don't mind me asking? Also where did you get the adapter made?
suprasize
Im on a similar train of thought! Its either Whifbitz or Keron i want to do mine, but the best thing to do dude is message Keron and quiery any suspicions that way there'll be no nasty surprises. Word straight from the horses mouth . Then go from there for budgetting what you'll need.
RobD
Please note though, calling Keron a horse will probably result in you paying more money to get the conversion done!

mobsta_01
Just had a thought regatrding my na-tt conversion. My exhaust is stock na one. Would i need one suitable for a tt?
Stratty
I still have the same exhaust after Keron done mine so maybe you can still use it.
mobsta_01
I still have the same exhaust after Keron done mine so maybe you can still use it. It's just that someone mentioned something about getting a catback exhaust for a tt if i was going to do a na-tt conversion. If its not necessary then i can get it done sooner. TT and NA exhausts are the same fitment. The first cat/decat pipe is different on the NA and TT so you will need to replace that.

Stratty
No idea mate. I just left it all to Keron to do. I assume he has changed the first decat pipe then.
