JustGav
Has anybody attempted to move the fuse boxes from the engine bay to the interior yet? Considering doing it on the BDC car, I forgot to look at the shell this morning to confirm the wiring routes. Given that the car will not be running a complete loom and I have no issues extending the looms I thought I would find out if anyone has done it yet. We are hoping to go with a fairly clean and empty bay. Thanks Gav

JustGav
Hodge has recently just done it He's moved it into the glove box. That's exactly the place I thought of, I'll have a quick dig around for his thread.
Kev.O
There's quite a few pages to his thread Gav. Page 27 shows a picture after John has soldered all the extra cables on.
hodge
Yup I certainly have. I'm a pioneer of fusebox relocating. The glovebox itself needs some encouragnent to get the fusebox panel to fit. And it JUST fits. KDW removed his bottom glovebox and fitted the fusebox in it's place but I wanted to go that 1 step further and Keep the stock look of the dash. If you fancy giving it a go I don't mind pointing you in the right direction.
Guest MoeBlunt
Why don't you relocate it to the boot?

I'm confident doing it, HOWEVER the advantage of not being the first person doing it means I can find out what the pitfalls are first I know Ash wants to keep the dash looking street without the race car look so I'm tasked with keeping it stock-ish looking
