2 - ati high definition audio device not plugged in (somtimes) .... HDMI HELP?

Ok i This is a lil wierd as i usaly can sort out all PC problems, build them and sort out my mates PC but this baffels the hell out of me?

 

I have a gigabite motherboard, Fatality XFI sound card and crossfired ATI Radeon 4800 cards. Im running it though HDMI to my TV.

 

What the problem is that 60% of the time when i turn my comp on i have no sound though the HDMI. It says 2 - ati high definition audio device not plugged in

 

but it is! Sometimes when i turn my comp on. Its says its plugged in and everything is fine!

 

I cant choose as default as it thinks its not plugged in!!

 

I have downloaded all suggest HDMI drivers!

 

Any ideas people?
