Tannhauser
I believe they are the same as we used to get in Africa same as what - no idea. 50 Responding to pre-edit: thrips look a possibility to me, too.
Nic
OK, I give up. No idea. Nic, if you find out what they are, please let me know (I'm assuming you haven't been eaten already). Still non the wiser, tried finding them on the interweb but no luck, just been out fiddling with my front speakers, been biten alive by mossies and jumped all over by these pesky little devils can't wait for winter
Nic
First it was my car now it's my house :eek2: just found one of these weird alien bugs on my bedroom ceiling, I'm now freaked out looking around for more of them. They are still residing on my car everyday and have started laying what look like small eggs, which I am really not happy about
suprarob
They might be the nymph of the homopteran bug family Eurybrachidae. The two long 'antennae' are waxy secretions from the back of the bug, designed to confuse predators (and of course, you). They are sap-suckers (so I can't imagine why they fancy your Supe) and common in Australia, apparantly.
Tannhauser
They might be the nymph of the homopteran bug family Eurybrachidae. Not if they're laying eggs. Unless there are adults around, too, but Nic hasn't mentioned these.
ewizzy
Urmmm...........Ewww Seriously, sell the car or get the insurance company to write it off due to the scarey bug invading clause! Thats horrible!!! Nearly as bad as spiders!

Rob I think you were correct in your identification of the alien bugs, I looked up the name and found this photo which looks very similar to the white things that were invading my car. I now have a different bug resident on my car which looks like a cross between a brown leaf and a moth (see other photo), these things also jump when touched. I'm guessing these are the adult version of the white bugs??
