Whitesupraboy2
I've just had the new owner on the phone to me and they've had the wheels off the car (well tried) and they told me one of the studs was wedged in with cella tape!!! So put the gun on spinning round it went. I had this ...'fixed' before the last MOT back in August otherwise it wouldn't of passed. So Dangerous its stupid! Ive been driving me, my girlfriend and others in this car and not just driving, but using it how a supra should sometimes. I asked could he send me pictures not because I don't believe him but I want to go to them and ask them what the fuck they were thinking of. Is there anything I can do about this with the garage?!? Anywhere I can report them?!? cheers James

Gaz6002
Do you have all the paperwork showing they charged you for the repair? If so, speak to your CAB about your options.

Whitesupraboy2
Might scare them but probably not the result I want! I couldn't believe what he was saying I asked to explain exactly what he meant, I don't work on my car at all I'm just not good at that stuff on the engine side so when i pay i expect it done properly! Whitesupraboy2
So who are the culprits? No names, If I decide to go legal route cant have anything fcuking it up. (for now) No traders off this forum to be clear, I've only ever used traders on here to buy parts.

Class One
James, Trading Standards would pick this one up. You'l be able to find them by ringing your local authority switchboard and they'll put you in touch. CAB wouldn't be much help and I'm assuming that you wouldn't be seeking to sue them yourself, so give them a call.
marbleapple
What do you hope to achieve? I can't see a legal route other than claiming for the money you paid to have the wheel stud repaired and I suspect the costs of issuing in the small claims court would cost more than you would recover. Lets be honest, yes it was dangerous but nothing bad came of it, you have not incurred cost and you don't even have evidence to prove that you didn't stick the paper in or the new buyer isn't lieing. The only thing I see you will achieve is a wasting of your own time.
