Been playing this half the afternoon, so far it looks to have lived up the hype :) Looks like a very long story line, lots of diaglog and the decision making has a big impact on the gameplay. Just about everything you do has an impact on the storyline and dialog options.

The graphics are much improved, not exactly Crysis level and the Bioware engine doesn't allow anti-aliasing so needs to be run at high resolution to stop the jaggies. That said, even on my mid level machine it runs completly smooth at full HD, so should run well even on low end computers.

I'm rocking through this today :) its awesome, used my old ms1 character and then remembered I was a complete arse for the second playthrough and I even killed off the council, so the start of number 2 was good :) just have to go through this one as a cold hearted git as well :)

My first impressions are it's a bloody good game :) - They've improved the combat side of things loads, and they make the effects of your choice to go good or bad more obvious with extra things to do... And it looks damn nice too :)

The start was a great way to go for people who've never played before, and they're linking the first game in nicely so players of the first episode will soon feel at home...

Looks like there's going to be a lot of playtime involved, with it being on 2 discs (XBox - Not sure about the others), and we're promised a lot of DLC for it, hopefully more than fancy bits of kit, although for obvious reasons I'm not able to download any of it yet (I really want my Blood Dragon Armour from buying Dragon Age: Origins :D)

So a big thumbs up from me so far :D

Is that really sad?

LOL - Not at all fella, I'm usually the one going for the midnight sale, I did a 100 mile round trip to Bristol to get GTAIV the night it came out as all of the shops in Chelt had filled their pre-orders...

Only the M32 -> M4 junction was also closed that night, so it was probably 110 miles thanks to the detour, but I drove it GTA style anyway :) - And then had a week booked off work to play it :)...

I reckon after seeing other peoples experiences with ordering online, and my own experience now, it's the way to go to get a game a day or so early, I'll certainly be doing it again :D
