erol_h
My friend owns a rx8 and was thinking of servicing the car himself has any one had any experience with these as i heard it is more tricky because of the rotary engine.
Kirk
i cant see why they be tricky to service. Oil and filter is pretty straight forward just the plugs are in a big of an awkward place
Abz
I've not done this myself but he needs to be very careful of the oil he uses! Think it is like a mineral light oil? Get him to read up on this! Only thing though a lot of rotory engine buyers like to see solid proof that service has been carried out, this hugely effects re-sale. They are not the most robust engine so when buyin SH is well relied on.

SimonT
Might be worth having a word with Muffleman or Dude as Matt has one but I'm sure they both know what they are talking about with them
