caseys
Hold on............... I'll stroke the ego from here. I think we should club together and get a t-shirt made we can send to Jazz that says 'l33t g4m3rz' ?
Thorin
But I was talking to Jazz1's mate the other night and he told me he's crap. Anyway, I'd say I'm a gamer - I've got stacks of D20 modules, an original Call of Cthulhu core set, CoC 5th Edition GM book, 5 big Magic: The Gathering card decks. a stack of Munchkin card games, Munchkin Quest and Arkham Asylum board games. I game old school, lol. Cool I loved the CoC role playing system, only problem was your characters wouldn't last long before going mad. Animal
Lol, that's half the fun, at least you don't need to worry about character progression. I think the best I managed was to kill off a party in about 1 hour. I've not run a game for years now. Arkham Asylum is good, although you need to set aside about 4-5 hours for a game. Lucy and her mates are all power gamers, proper anal about the tiniest rules, lol. They mostly play SLA & Legend of the 5 Rings. Me and my mate prefer the sillier/less intense stuff now, hence Munchkin. He's got all the Zombie modular games too and Tannhauser, they're fun. AndrewOW
Read it and weep. Read it and weep! But I was talking to Jazz1's mate the other night and he told me he's crap. I bet it was his pet rat or dad playing instead of him, and claiming the accolade!

AndrewOW
I don't understand the question. It doesn't really matter. Just get back to the kitchen! Of course, I am joking, and only referring to an earlier post in this thread, and thought I'd pick on you for a laugh. Please don't ban me, as I like it here! Rolemaster and Spacemaster were the ones we played by far the most, with some Rifts too.

It's usually taken up a lot of your time over the years, so you're bound to miss it. We don't play anywhere near as much as we used to. Just getting everyone in the same place of an evening is hard enough, let alone getting any sort of commitment to running a campaign. Rifts was cool, played that a few times. Me and a mate get together quite regular for games of Munchkin, M:tG or Zombies, but that's about it.
Snooze
I actually miss role playing now, is that sad? Heh - same here. Lots of AD&D and a little bit of Traveller back when I was young, the Summers were longer and all these other distractions didn't suck up all my time! As per previous post, I play lots of Euro/German-style games these days (I got bored of and stopped playing most computer games a few years back), but still have hankerings for my youthful RPG sessions now and again! AndrewOW
I still haven't quite finished playing The Hobbit on the ZX Spectrum. Have things advanced much in recent years?

That came out recently? I'm still stuck playing Jet Set Willy. Admittedly Pong did take me quite a while to complete. Finished it in the end though. Snooze
I still haven't quite finished playing The Hobbit on the ZX Spectrum. Have things advanced much in recent years? Nope - you are STILL in a comfortable, tunnel-like hall. To the east there is a round, green door.
AndrewOW
Ah, but is my sword glowing, or not? I must say that the moment with the creature with the bulbous eyes was a little hairy, but I managed to get past it eventually.
