Well I'm still stuck on crappy dial-up that won't connect at any faster than 28.8k, disconnects every 10 minutes (if I'm lucky) and cannot get broadband until at least next month (fibre in my line grrrr, money saving bastards).

Also having moved house and had to spend about twice what I've actually earnt in the last couple of months and having to scrape by on my credit card, suprisingly I don't want to fork out to renew my forum subscription just yet (when I'm hardly bloody on much as it is anyway, due to said dialup).

So when I see CW asking a question I decided to create another account just so I could post a reply to help him out. What happens? Account deleted without even a curtesy e-mail or a warning. Cheers.

Stupid thing is I could have just posted on my girlfriend account anyway (except I'd forgotten her password), seeing as how we have both paid a membership fee and all we've gotten is some stickers and a few cards I'd have expected some leniency! :p

You can always email CW directly if you want.

Other people like Eyefi get away with registering new accounts so they can avoid paying a tenner so I don't know why you couldn't. Anyway, I see you're posting this thread on a newly made account so I guess you got it sorted out in the end.

Nope you've just re-registered another one again. How is that fair on other members who do pay?

Appropriate action was taken with eyefi too

It states quite clearly in the terms and conditions that if people re-register to avoid paying their account will be deleted.

How are we to know you are having financial difficulties? You didn't contact any of us did you? You just did it. Besides, if you're struggling to find £10 why would you care what CW or anyone has to say on a BBS? I'd be proper worried desperately trying to find stuff to sell or something.

Nice to know you password share too ;)

Sorry for rant but a) you're in the wrong, sorry and b) you started it :p

I think the reason he was pissed off ( thou I can only guess -him being a bloke and all) is that he only made one post.. if he continued to post under that ID/name to avoid paying then fair enough delete the account. The only reason he made a new ID was because he couldn't remember the password for this, *lick* (paid) account.

Ok, so this is my account not his, but so what?? We live in the same house what would be the point paying two membership fees?? Especially when I know nothing about Supra's ( bar they're good to pose in :p), his contribution to the forum would be alot better than mine- trust me. Thus ( if its ok by whoever's in charge?) he can have/use this (*lick*) account to post under from now on :)

Thanks xxx

I can disable this account and activate his if you like, no worries.

Hate to point out the obvious but how were we to know he only intended to make 1 post? :) Also worth adding that sitting about watching "illegal" accounts to see what activity they have on them it's really on any of our favorite things to do list :D
