Well, as the topic says...

Should the valve clearing be same as stock cams?

If so... Were should the clearence lay? Between? 0.15-0.25 on both sides? I dont have the manual...

Thanks!

Best regards

Says nothing about the valve clearing!....

Just the cam adjustment...

I didn't say it did. The link I posted up is about using different cam degreeing as apposed to the usual OEM ones.

I thought it might have been of some interest to you, obviously not.

Have you found out how the search button on the forum works yet?

Can anyone verify this for the 2jz-gte:

Install the HKS 264 cams like the stock ones and

adjust the valve clearance (cold)

Intake 0.15 - 0.25mm

Exhaust 0.20 - 0.30mm

Thanks!

How accurate should the clearance be?

Intake

5 of them arround 0.15 and the rest at 0.20...

Exhaust

1 on 0.25 and the rest on 0.30...

Dont know if I can get my hands on chim that has the right size. Dont think the sizes are so small... But even if i can find chim... Do you guys think that i should bother?

Thanks! :)
