Engine Noise/Rattle

It's the exhaust gas control valve linkage rattling itself to death `cos you have mucked about with Toyota's multi million pound set up to take it back to the dark ages. Hold the arm on the valve steady with a long screwdriver and the rattling will stop. It's low down at the front, sort of under the middle of the turbos. Put it back as Mr T intended before the arm snaps off the control valve. (Actually, no, leave it, I have one to sell..... ;))

I would of never guessed that to be honest, how the hell do you do that realy! Diagnose from a phone video so easy, takes me about 10-15 in person to find the problem on most cars!

And a crap video at that:d:d

Really is a goldmine of experience on this site!!

Cheers Chris/ Guys:)

I will try that later this week

Is it safe to start up? I cant drive it as its not got any windows but i may need to move it in the workshop??

Yes, the worst tha can happen is the arm will break the spotweld and I'll have to TIG it back on again. I would, in all honesty, get rid of the TTC conversion though.
