Charlotte
What's it all about and is it any good? I keep seeing people raving about it but it just looks like high school musical or something?
Gaz6002
I thought glee was another way of saying gay, or happy.
Mike
Scott Mills has been going on about it... I thought it was a gay thing too? No offence, like
Charlotte
I thought glee was another way of saying gay, or happy. It is - I'm gleeful all the time! However it is also a new show on E4. Scott Mills has been going on about it... I thought it was a gay thing too? No offence, like Do you mean 'camp'? I don't think you have to be gay to like a bit of a sing and a dance eh? Porky1978
A 'Glee' club is a term used for a singy/dancy group in America. The missus has recorded it on Sky+ box and is waiting for a suitable time so we can both sit down and watch it. Have a feeling its gonna by on the Sky+ box for quite a while. Porky1978
I think its aimed at everyone tbh. Comedy for the older generation and singy/dancy teens for the singy/dancy teens. Cant say i will be readily tuning in!!
Scott
It's the same American clap trap we get fed daily. Possible spoiler but I haven't seen it so I would be surprised if it is. A glee club is basically like our drama clubs cept with more singing and dancing. In the show they are the lowest of the low as far as the cliques go but a relatively popular jock decides to join the glee club as he likes either singing and dancing... or one of the chicks in the club. This creates a blip in the way of the cliques, making the glee club more noticeable while making him less popular. I dare say they then go on to wow everyone with their talents and turn everyone around in the end. Guy gets the girl, girl gets the guy, best mate gets dumped, lesbian thoughts at one point and everyone learns a lesson. At a guess.
RiceRocket
What's it all about and is it any good? I keep seeing people raving about it but it just looks like high school musical or something? I've not seen it either as I thought the same Glee is an American teen-musical comedy-drama television series that airs on Fox. It focuses on a high school show choir (also known as a glee club), The show has received mixed to positive reviews. The series won the 2010 Golden Globe Award for Best Comedy Series and received three additional nominations for Best Actress (Lea Michele), Best Actor (Matthew Morrison), and Best Supporting Actress (Jane Lynch). JustGav
Hmmm, kids here at home have been asking to watch it.... I noticed one of the creators is the same bloke who did Nip/Tuck, so busy watching the first episode just to vet it, and within the first 3 minutes, there is a VERY naughty word (Cu next tuesday.....), so not quite sure who it is aimed at.
