d_d
Hi Ive searched through the forums and tried most things that i can find. Had the dash apart to fit a new stereo. Putting back together it seems the heater controls do nothing no fans no air con lights nothing. Ive plugged in the 2 connectors at the back definetly and have double checked all fuses. The cigarette lighter works even the indicators lights everything including in the stereo, but yet the heaters/ac which turns the fans on etc dont. Only thing i can think of is the plugs been damaged or the heater controls are now buggered. Anyone got a wiring diagrams of that part so i can see if i have voltage. Any other suggestions appreciated.

Geo
pull it apart again and make sure you have plugged in all the connectors correctly ?
Mattross1313
Hey Geo, thanks for the reply. I will be taking it all apart at the weekend again to try and remove some more bits and re-work some cables. Just to check, is it only the two orange connector blocks for the heater units? do they control everything? thanks, Matt

Mattross1313
Thanks for link Geo, I've saved that for future reference During my huge interior tidy today i took the dash back off and found the problem to my ac/blowers not working......... One of the two orange connectors had fallen out (what a muppet i am!). Needless to say it all works now
chris blackwell
I have the same problem after fitting a new headunit only all my connectors are plugged in correctly and still no blowers. Gonna have to do a proper check again but seems like everytime I take that dash out something else breaks.
chris blackwell
Fixed the problem!! After taking the dash out again and checking all the connectors were fine, I took the lower glove box out to get access to the blower fan unit. It turns out that the fan can get stuck sometimes and if you simply give it a good tap when the ignition is on the fan will come back to life. No need to spend loads on new blower units, control units and switches etc.
