AndrewOW
It's good to see the emergency services being put to good use! No wonder they can never be found when you need them. http://news.bbc.co.uk/local/oxford/hi/people_and_places/newsid_8458000/8458645.stm

Angarak
If he'd have injured himself doing that he'd be off work on the sick at our expense. Of course coppers are just people at the end of the day (atleast, I'd like to think most of them are)....but Im glad his boss put him straight on how to deal with snow-related situations in the future. Lbm
^^^^ To be honest Alfi that's a tough one for you. However, perhaps your ex Mrs is the one who's more reponsible than the entire UK police service? Anyway good luck to you and hope you get some decent access for you and your boy
Abz
Sorry to hear this Alfi, I had police round my house the other day. My little brothers wife stitched him up. She does not let him see his son & when she does allow him, normally texts in the morning to say you can't see him today. We have had police over at least 10 times to arrest my brother & take him to the station. His done it so many times he doesn't bother kicking up a fuss & being handcuffed. The officers are polite to him and he does tell she keeps doing this (in the hope he gets angry). Its not their fault, she is to blame for constantly calling the police & wasting tax payers money. Back to the OP's thread - Police just having a laugh, as the fella who recorded it said. Something like this will bring them closer to the community. Some officers are just straight dumbass! But majority are pretty good.
dude
Yes well, I'm sure whoever locked you up thought you were scum as well...didn't take well to getting caught? awwww well that's what you get for being a tit. Mate I take it you are pro police, watch any of the latest police programs and tell me the attitudes have not changed over the years, even the police will tell you its now all about them 'exerting' their authority!!! The way they talk to people , now nothing more than bully boys hiding behind badges, yes they do need to deal with unsavoury peeps but the condesending way they talk to you etc. These guys on the other hand are going some way to establishing a raport with the public and their boss thinks thats a bad idea!!! ronttuk
when it comes down to it us blokes have very little support from the police regarding our children in a split with our partners the law is 99% on thier side i managed the get custody of my daughter when she was 18 months old shes now 24 but god it was hard my ex wife got custordy in a court twice and twice she ballsed it up so i eventually got custody but i was still dragged back to court 5 times for her to try again and get my daughter, the worst thing was trying to tell my daughter she had to give to live with her mum while she was sobbing her heart out packing her stuff knowing she wasnt going to be looked after properly. mind you when she was a teenager and naughty the biggest threat was right go pack your stuff u can live with your mum lol
