johnny g
There's no better feeling Well except maybe beating the mancs I'm not gonna deny that we're a laughing stock at the minute, hell i was cheering when Reading got their equaliser as they deserved it and we need a right smack in the face about how bad we are at the minute. Just hoping that the people in charge realise we need Torres more than a new stadium.... One man is not a team though. You need several players. I'd let Torres go for £100m or whatever you can get for him and build a team with 2-3 world class players off that. You need cover. Torres will never last a whole season, he'll play 60% of the games, maximum. And, with a return like that, you can't build a team around him. At the minute though he's the only one who looks like winning us a game. Gerrard's off the boil at the minute. I know what you're saying but i don't know what world class players would join a club who have just sold arguably the top out and out striker in the world. Doesn't give a good incentive to join. Plus if Rafa keeps making strange signings then i doubt the money would be well invested. Maxi is a good signing though as long as he plays like he did in Spain. I still want us to sign Arteta

If he has a good world cup, it's adios. Arteta's already at the best Merseyside club

johnny g
Rumour has it that Gerrard's immediately family was threatened a while back when he was almost off to join Chelski. Wouldn't surprise me.
johnny g
A man drowned in the River Mersey wearing a Liverpool shirt, women's undies, fishnet stockings and had a sex toy up his ass .... johnny g
How can it NOT be the managers fault? He's had £250m to spend. How can they have the gaul to say that he's not had enough money? The owners, in everyone's eyes apart from The Shite's fans, have provided more than enough money to win them the league, but instead, Rafa drops clangers by getting rid of Keane, the handling of Alonso, signing Aquilani for £20m, Glen Johnson for £18m, Babel, Penant... There's no money because he's blown it all on bad decisions. Compounding them with trying to be clever with zonal marking the squad rotation system. In Rafa I trust. Half at Rafa, and half at the players, the boos in the Reading game are an example of that...

johnny g
I think that was a good result for Liverpool, holding Stoke to a 1-1 draw.
