What the hell is the world coming to
martini
I don't like cats much, but that is horrible I say catch them, then entirely remove their body hair with wax.
SupraStar 3000
Thats pretty bad Kayla. Do you have anyone that lives near you that you suspect of harming your cat. I'd be furious if that happened to mine!

Kopite
Disgusting that is I'd make a report and log that with the police in case it's a frequent complaint from other owners in the area? Maybe try and keep the cat indoors a bit more just in case for now
Bobbeh
Sounds like something kids would do.. scary thing those that abuse pets then turn into killers. I'd be livid too if someone had done the same to my old cat.

Abz
I am a car lover & have 2 of my own, something like this would infuriate me! If I found out who it was I'd get the lads round, hold them down & then wax off their eyebrows! Cats rely quite a bit on their whiskers. Dad use to say that use it for balance but it is more navigation etc, they can sense vibrations in the air & use it when hunting as well. They do grow back but this will take a few weeks! I'd recommend keeping the moggy indoors for at least 2-3 weeks. Have a read of this: http://www.kittencare.com/wounded.html

Tricky-Ricky
Are you sure that they have been cut off? I ask because a couple of our Siamese where missing their whisker's, we later found that one of the females was removing them during grooming:blink:
