Homer
What is it the anniversary of, when you met, kissed, fingers and tops? For unmarried couples isn't it normally the year(s) after first 'sausage' time?

miko_supra
What kind of break do you want miles? Me and the ex went to the cotswolds for a luxury spa break. Good food, good drink, nice and relaxing etc...
miles
What kind of break do you want miles? Me and the ex went to the cotswolds for a luxury spa break. Good food, good drink, nice and relaxing etc... Well last year she took me to a hotel for a spa break thing for a couple of days so it's my turn now, something along he lines of this or abroad somewhere, I was looking at Paris but it's so expensive to even get there I'd have no money left for a hotel. Prague seems reasonably priced for flights and hotels etc wondered if anyone had been there or if there were any other suggestions? How much did the break to the coswolds set you back if you don't mind me asking? Miles

Meko
i will have a look into maybe going to london and seeing the sights. don't you love her then? if you want to go abroad and have a £200 - £300 budget, instead of thinking of places to go, have a look at the cheap airlines and see where they fly to from your local airport. When you know where you're limited to, see which one suits you best.
deathmonkey
I think Prague is a beautiful place to go, great idea for the girlfriend. I went a few years ago, all for pennies. As long as you can avoid the usual pissheads, it's pretty spectacular and I'm sure the girlfriend would love it. You may not be married, but girlfriends always appreciate doing something special on a 'anniversary' - nice one.
Meko
although if she drinks Jack Daniels, don't take her to Prague. My ex and her new fella went there on Boxing Day, lager was cheap but a JD was a tenner.

I just realised you're from Surrey Heh. Bring her down this way, get a nice hotel and go out clubbing or enjoying the area generally. ellis
Take her to London, bit of shopping, book a nice restaurant for the afternoon then take her to a show in the evening (splitties seem to like Mama Mia, personally I'd sooner have my eyes and ears eaten by piranha). Nice night in a relatively central hotel (buy a nice lingerie set for her for the evening) and bobs your uncle, Captain Birdseye's your aunt and all that!!
