The Raven Posted January 13, 2010 Share Posted January 13, 2010 I see where he is coming from. I had to tell my Best man what i wanted and didnt want on mine. The last thing i would ever let my mates do is take me away for a week. Not that im a kill joy or boring but i dont trust them that much. I had a number of set rules on mine. 1. NO strippers. 2. Dont strip me naked 3. Dont shave anything. 4. Dont leave me on a train to somewhere in a drunken haze. A few other bits and bobs. I was not prepared to go out for a day where i had to look over my shoulder every 30 seconds worried i was about to be chained to margate clock tower naked. The result of the rule making was i had a great time and enjoyed myself. Paintballing the morning, i had to wear a red rambo band.....so they could all see me. The-Plethora Posted January 13, 2010 Share Posted January 13, 2010 I bet as soon as he gets married he will be one of those people who never comes out again anyway, just stays in with the wife and makes excuses to not come out until the point where you give up bothering and drift apart. Even if its not his thing you would at leats have thought he would have thanked you for the effort that you had gone to. mathew Posted January 13, 2010 Author Share Posted January 13, 2010 Does he even have a passport? no! we've told him we'll even pay for his passport. like has been said though there has to be some underlaying issue as to why he wont go. we have to talk him into doing everything. if we go bowling we have to beg and plead with him and only then he'l come to watch. its a shame as he's a good mate to all of us and we all like him but just wish he'd be a bit more open to things.
