"A" service..Anyone know what's involved?

Took the Sup into Toyota today for it's "A" service, asked the bloke at the desk what was involved and he replied, "Oil change and a check over."

£210 smackers for an Oil change seems a bit steep. I mean how am I going to know if they've checked it over.

TBH I'm only really doing it to get the book stamped.

Any ideas if they change any other fluids?

The A service is mainly checking and top up.

The most important thing apart from the Oil and Filter is checking and tightening bolts on chassis and body.

Several owners have found some of the front suspension cross member bolts to be loose. Easy to check yourself if you have a good torque wrench and the right sockets.

yep i took mine in once for a mixture/emissions check.. and when i came back it had been washed as well ! the head mechanic there is a bit of an enthusiast so i think he must have done it..

mind you he also took the roof off one day when taking it for a test drive .. sneaky.
