scotty71
With having owned a mint Cosworth 2WD up till a year ago and owning fast fords previously over the years I still like to look at the Fast Ford scene. As I now have my Supra I can honestly say the drive of the TT Auto is 10x that of my Cossie but I still have a passion hidden away for a nice bit of blue oval Anyway I thought I would share this link with you for those that have an interest in Fords. This guy on the RS forums has a.... somewhat incredible collection of cars.. including the last cossie off the production line, a S1 Turbo driven by Princess Di, and a MK4 Xr3i with 972 miles from new!!, RS1600i , RS500, to name but a few. What it must be like to own a catalogue of cars like this!! I know they are not Supra's;) .... but a great collection all the same. The thread had me drooling for a bit but then I looked outside and saw the TT on the drive and pulled myself together lol Ok enough waffle here is the thread enjoy http://bbs.rsownersclub.co.uk/showthread.php?t=201436 Scotty71 (ex cossie owner now Superior Supra owner)

Yeah I was thinking the same thing Jamie... got to have a bit of cash to collect that sort of collection. But I stumbled across the thread so thought it was worth a link here:) But hey he does not have a speed boat Scotty

marbleapple
The only one that I liked the look of was the Sierra. I find it really hard to get excited about the Fords. Ok the Escort MK1's and the Sierra Cosworths were lookers but they just look so dated now.
stevie_b
Absolutely stunning. I only looked at the first page, just a shame there weren't more photos of Sapphire Cosworths (my all-time favourite RS car).
Lee P
Wow, stunning collection. I was a ford man before my supra and really like the S1 RST's Has a couple of RST's and a cossie.
mplavery
wow, i was really into ford's back in the day, they were some of my best times being the the rs owners club here was my fiesta turbo, it had only done 37k! but i paid top money for her, it only had 1 lady owner from new and she was a air hostess so she never really got to put any miles on her here is a pic, she was at power engineering, we got her to 170bhp, i was really happy lol

edge
I was brought up with fords as my dad was lover. He owned a black wide arch capri mk2 that i see for sale a few years back for £10k in a canvey showroom. Not sure what version it was though. Sure it had a roll cage in it aswel. He was a supervisor on the engine lines in fords and used to work closely with lotus and help select their engines and said the ones they didnt want almost all the ones they didnt want went in transit vans. Mum had a mexico that scared her. Love the old s1 escorts.
Lee P
Loving the collection and proof to my claim that Diana did have a series 1 turbo. She did own one and she wrote it off. Edit: I may be wrong about her writing it off but she definatly owned one, it was given to her by Ford
JamieP
I use to like my fords when i was younger, had a green mk1 RS2000 for a short while, almost rusted away that one, had a few saphire cosworths and my fave was a black RS500, i have a good video of me playing in it on vhs, must get it converted and uploaded. She did own one and she wrote it off. Didnt they build her the only black one?

Didnt they build her the only black one? Yes she had the only original black one which was made specialy for her and had schwarz (black) on the chassis plate. There were a few other black ones but they were repainted in the factory for special orders and were originaly white.

Abz
Nice collection! Though that last XR3i with 942 miles on the clock is amazing, but if you look at the mileage counter, it only has space for 5 digits. Does it go back to 00000 after you have done 99999?
