I'm liking that - a lot!

Thanks :D

Lovely! I want one :( I didn't know they were still making the L200 in the old shape past 05?

I think its one of the last ones, havnt seen a 57 plate old shape one, the new ones date back to the same year, but unfortunatly i refuse to pay insurance group 19 rates otherwise no doubt we would have got the newer shape :(

Oh well, its awesome but very slow - on flat ground :eyebrows:

Nice truck.

They are slow stock, much better once chipped, had my old one done at power engineering in uxbridge and setup on the dyno.

There's nothing impractical about that. 450 bhp, 500 lb/ft torque - It's a FULL 5 seater, with legroom in the back for 3 grown adults, has a 1 ton carrying capacity, that won't see the bed sitting on the rear wheels, and can tow 3.5 tonnes easily...

Oh, and it can do 20 mpg* :D

As long as you stick to 55 mph on the motorway!

It's only the F150. They're not really that big. Virtually the same length as a medium wheelbase Transit van, and 8" narrower than a Transit, including mirrors...

And you can park a Transit anywhere... Ask any Transit driver!:D

Now this one, I agree with you...

Sorry, didn't mean to hijack your thread Kayla :)

What kind of power did it bump it up to? had a look at one already :innocent: and it bumps it up to 135bhp, was that the one you got?

Get the proper Mitsubishi power upgrade, about 135bhp I think, the Ralliart one. It's a silver metal box with cables running from it and is plug and play, got mine off Ebay second hand for about £200.

Just plugs in down by the passenger footwell. Makes my '55 Warrior so much more drivable, still fairly gutless but alot more bearable. This shape and with those sort of tyres on are great in the snow, been out in mine at every chance just messing around and it handles great :)

Out come all the closet 4x4ers lol. That car Jamie posted those pictures weren't taken anywhere near Basingstoke fo sho and I don't think you can buy them 38" tyres here in the UK, the 37" version has been discontinued definitely. How do you guys find the leaf springs on the back end of those? I've been told it makes them very uncomfortable at motorway speeds, I also be interested what the performance is like offroad. I imagine you'll cross axle very easily as leaf springs can't surely have as much travel as springs surely? I'm liking the tyres, they are sooo not cheap. It looks lifted as well which is no easy job on leafs.

Wouldn't have said that one has been lifted, they have massive clearance from standard. It looks like it has the original 16" wheels, mine now has the 18" Animal ones and still got plenty of space to the arches.

Leaf springs not a problem, very good ride even on motorways, sometimes 'hops' a bit when flooring out of a corner but great fun getting the back end out :D
