Blackie
with VS overfenders do you have to have massivly wide rear wheels or would they look right with 265 with a offset of 35? Do you have to cut away the inner arch and for the people that have them would the bend nicly in to a blended trail rear bumper? cheers all
Scott
I have 10", 265 +20's and I need 10mm spacers. You are looking for around 11" wheels for a 20-30 offset. If you want around stock 50 offset you are looking at 12" wheels. You at least need to flatten the lip back to get them to work with the wheels properly. Easiest way is just to have them cut away. hodge
I had 10.5 rears with 275/30/19 tyres and had to fit 25mm spacers. Bare in mind there are 2 sizes of overfenders. There 25mm and 60mm.

Are the 60's not modified and cloned VS ones though? AFIK the proper VS ones are only 25mm. I'm positive the ones I had were 25mm, they certainly aren't 60mm. If you fancy going ahead with it I would get them on the car and then take measurements for the wheels after that lol.
Blackie
I would go for the 25mm ones i think, Hopefully it will be lend nicely to my trial rear
hodge
I had 25s on mine and a mate had 60s on his with a trail rear. They both looked great. I think but don't quote me on it that they DID do 2 different sizes live they had the c1 and c2 bodykits.

The only 60+ ones I have seen are the replicas that were done by a member on here. Could be right though

Matt H
Mine are 12" wheels and they sit well in the OF. anything too much smaller wouldn't look right.

Matt H
Have you got the 60 or 25mm Overfenders? They are the Veilside ones. I wasn't aware that Veilside did different widths? Same as JamieP's anyway.
5upraa
19" wheels with spacers..arches need a little rolling from inside or cut..
Matt H
19" wheels with spacers..arches need a little rolling from inside or cut.. I think he was more interested in width rather than diameter mate. He wants to make sure he has the right offset.
Scott
As above, the diameter of the wheel has absolutely no bearing on how the wheels will sit inside the overfenders. You need to determin the width of the wheel you are going to buy, from there you can work out the offset you will require in order for them to sit flush. My wheels are 10" wide, they are +20's and require 10mm spacers. This means that in order to run 10" wide wheels you need an offset of +10. If you run 11" wheels you need +35 and if you run +12" wheels you need +60 for the same look as my own. I'm guessing the likes of Matt and Jamie ran 12" wide wheels with a +55 offset. This would have the wheels 5mm further out than my own which would be absolutely ideal.
