Hi all,

 

Right so as voted we will be having a drive out to whitby bay on the 14th march. It's a good drive out and there are some good roads on thr way !!

 

Meeting at the A1/M62 services at 10am

where ever we go we need to have a good starting point i.e. somewhere without traffic lights.

Whitby is a good ride out over the moors, we could stop off for a drink or maybe a snack in Goathland (heartbeat location) for an hour.

We need to sort a meeting point out and time, Could do with a location that does not have many traffic lights around, As we had a bad time with getting split up when seting off at the last meet.

How you work that one out

Hi guys, although I suggested Xscape initially I have just found out from local press that there are major roadworks about to start around Xscape on the 1st march untill November so I suggest we meet 1 junction down at the old A1 / M62 services. From here no problem getting onto the new A1 and then onto A64 then A169, possible stop off at Goathland (Heartbeat location, yawn) then onto Whitby.

That sound ok to me dave,

 

Right so meeting at A1/M62 services, If your coming down along the M62 get off at J34 and follow signs to the services. If your coming along the A1 get off at J38 and follow signs for the services.

 

 

We will meet at 10am, Please take a look at the map for meeting location.

 

Red = services "meeting point"

Green = M62 J34

Blue = A1 J38
