Guest blownminiturbo
haha its funny that im actually a holden mechanic! they arent too bad but there is better haha i had a 500rwhp n/a stroked vk commodore with massive diff and built manualised auto and roll cage, and it was a f'n beast.. but had a 120l drop tank and would only get 90-100kms out of it and fuel was getting pretty dear so had to let it go to help fund the mini rebuild which i am supercharging with a sc12 toyota supercharger. would be nice to play for country. my old football mate is now reading's goalkeeper and australian reserve keeper. edinlexusV8
Hello Aaron welcome to the forum, you have one great motor and the upgrades you done on the car are amazing. Your soarer looks pretty good! I am an Soarer owner too. Have an SC400 and I love the machine! Got the rush headers, custom exhaust, big brake upgrade etc etc done to the car. Looking for supercharging mine with a Whipple Twin Screw 240 by the end of this year. My target is to get around 290-300 rwkw but I think it is too optimistic, unless I opt for changing the internals of the engine.
Guest blownminiturbo
thanks people. 300rwkw are easy as with an sc400. in my opinion turbocharge it you will get more power per dollar spent. you wont get the initial torque but you will get alot more up high. if you have a look on soarercentral.com there is a guy there called cihan aday. he is developing a bolt on turbo kit for the 1uz and has seen 300rwkw on around 10psi. but as you already have the extractors you would have to sell them to put the turbo kit on. but supercharger whipple noise is awesome i love it haha
