question about selling a car / scrapping one and car tax

1 - ?

2 - yeah no problems at all, you can only claim back full months from the post office, but you won't get the current month either in refund, or in replacement for the car it was on. So the new owner would have to purchase road tax to cover a month that the car *should* already have..

1. wats averge price from scrappy's for car nowadays?!?

2. If i'm selling the car and someone buys it, can I take the tax disc off it and say it isn't taxed to the seller, will this cause them an issue when they go to tax it?

I bought a car for 50quid off a mate as scrap value was 40 quid. Car was a 13year old Primera, nothin wrong just out of MOT.
